Mindfulness

I was so excited to learn that recent medical journals are recommending teaching mindfulness to people struggling with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, things that often affect people with Autism. They say that mindfulness is often more effective than drug therapy and of course, has no negative physical side effects.

Once again, science proves what the Bible recommended millennia ago:

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

I found out that I have Autism upon having a son with the same "disorder." Ironically, I was voted, "Most Likely to Succeed," by my high school classmates. But had I been born now, instead of 40+ years ago, I would have been considered a different sort of special. This site was started to encourage other Autistics and the people who love them .
