She has good bones

A young friend of mine was recently bemoaning her high cheekbones and full cheeks. She felt like they made her look the dreaded, three-lettered f-word, which shall remain unnamed!

They most definitely don’t!

However, my friend also shared that her mom, who is my age, said that my friend will be very thankful for those strong cheekbones when she gets older.

As someone who has definitely begun to lose the elasticity of youthful skin, I wholeheartedly agreed with her mom.

It also made me think of the importance of having good spiritual bones.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

I found out that I have Autism upon having a son with the same disorder. Ironically, I was voted, "Most Likely to Succeed," by my high school classmates. But had I been born now, instead of 50+ years ago, I would have been considered a different sort of special. This site was started to encourage other Autistics and the people who love them .

What do you think?
